The purpose of the laboratory's scientific research:

development of methods, lists, criteria for medical assessment and rehabilitation, assessment of the quality of medical care in patients with an orthopedic and traumatological profile.

Subject of research: changes in the body that occur under the influence of external factors of a mechanical nature, the consequences of injuries, methods of expert rehabilitation diagnostics and rehabilitation technologies, methods of providing rehabilitation assistance.

Object of research: patients with orthopedic and traumatological profile

Areas of activity (tasks):

  • Establishment of trends, patterns, characteristics of diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system, their consequences.
  • Determination of the etiology and pathogenesis, the formation of morphological changes in organs and tissues in diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system.
  • Formation of electronic databases of patients with major disabling pathology from the aggregate of statistical information.
  • Implementation of statistical processing of data of clinical and functional assessment of patients with an orthopedic and traumatological profile.
  • Determination of prognostic estimates of the likelihood of disorders in the body in the main disabling pathology.
  • Analysis of the available methods of expert rehabilitation diagnostics.
  • Determination of rehabilitation potential and rehabilitation prognosis.
  • Analysis of the main disabilities in orthopedic and traumatological patients.
  • Formation of algorithms for medical assessment and rehabilitation for the main disabling pathology.
