Postgraduate education of the first stage

In 2011, by order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus dated 01.11.2011 No. 1064 "About the opening of training in additional specialties for obtaining postgraduate education" on the basis of the State Institution " National Science and Practice Center of Medical Assessment and Rehabilitation", postgraduate studies were opened in the specialty 14.02.06 - Medical and Social Assessment and medical and social rehabilitation (branch of science - medical, group of specialties - preventive medicine). The basis is the decision of the board of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus dated October 19, 2011 No. 17/9.

Admission of persons for receiving postgraduate education is carried out in accordance with the "Regulations about the training of highly qualified scientific workers in the Republic of Belarus", approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus on 01.12.2011 No. 561.

Persons entering postgraduate studies must have:

• higher education
• a penchant for scientific research, as evidenced by scientific publications, participation in research and innovation projects, conferences or other materials;
• the recommendation of the academic council (council) of the institution of higher education or the faculty of this institution (for applicants in the year of graduation from this institution) or at least two years of practical work experience in positions requiring higher education.

Applicants to postgraduate studies to obtain the scientific qualification "Researcher" in the full-time (no more than three years of study) or part-time (no more than four years of study) form of education must pass candidate exams and tests in general disciplines before entering graduate school. Competition (no more than five years of study) as a form of training highly qualified researchers at the first stage of postgraduate education, along with mastering the educational program of postgraduate studies, also includes the preparation and passing of candidate exams and tests in general education disciplines in cases when persons who are not with master's degrees.

To obtain postgraduate education of the 1st stage, persons who have received higher education in the field of education "Healthcare", who have been awarded the qualification "Doctor", are accepted in the specialties of the medical branch of science.

For applicants for postgraduate studies to study in extramural education and in the form of an application, with the exception of training in the form of an application for the purpose of passing candidate exams and credits in general education disciplines, at least two years of practical work experience in positions requiring higher education is mandatory. ...

On the basis of the recommendation of the academic council (council) of the institution of higher education (faculty of this institution), in agreement with the Ministry of Health, persons who have shown the best results in the process of studying at the institution of higher education and (or) training in internship are admitted to postgraduate studies (postgraduate studies) respectively training in an internship and (or) two years of practical work.

Foreign citizens entering graduate school must have a higher education at the level of a Master of Science (Arts).

Foreign citizens are enrolled in graduate school to study on a paid basis without passing an entrance exam in a special discipline. At the same time, the applicant's propensity for research work, as well as the level of proficiency in the language of instruction, sufficient for mastering the educational program of graduate school, is established based on the results of the interview.

Applicants for training must submit the following documents:

1. (32 Kb) Application addressed to the head of an educational institution, an organization that implements educational programs of postgraduate education.
2. Personal sheet of personnel records.
3. (26 Kb) Autobiography.
4. Copies of the diploma of higher education and an extract from the examination and examination sheet attached to it, or a copy of the education document confirming the receipt of an education equivalent to the first stage of higher education in the Republic of Belarus, indicating the disciplines studied and the marks (points) obtained on them.
5. Copies of the master's diploma and the attached extract from the transcript and examination sheet or a copy of an education document confirming the receipt of an education equivalent to the second stage of higher education in the Republic of Belarus, indicating the disciplines studied and the marks (points) received on them (for citizens of the Republic of Belarus - in the presence of).
6. A copy of the certificate of passing the candidate credits (differentiated credits) and candidate exams in general disciplines (for persons entering postgraduate study to obtain the scientific qualification "Researcher" in full-time or part-time education).
7. The recommendation of the academic council (council) or faculty of the institution of higher education (for persons entering postgraduate study to obtain the scientific qualification "Researcher" in the year of receiving higher education in this institution of higher education) or a copy of the work book or other documents confirming the length of service (for persons entering graduate school to obtain the scientific qualification "Researcher").
8. Application of the organization - customer of personnel (if any).
9. List and copies of published scientific works, and in their absence - a scientific abstract on the profile of the chosen specialty (for persons entering graduate school to obtain the scientific qualification "Researcher").
10. Documents confirming participation in the implementation of research and innovative projects, copies of materials and (or) abstracts of reports at scientific, scientific and practical conferences, congresses, symposia and other similar events (if any).
11. Conclusion of the scientific seminar of the laboratory (meeting of the department) on the relevance of the topic, the quality and volume of independently performed research on the topic of the dissertation being prepared (for persons entering graduate school to obtain the scientific qualification "Researcher" in the form of an application).
12. Documents giving the pre-emptive right for enrollment in graduate school to obtain the scientific qualification "Researcher" (if any).
13. Three photographs measuring 4 x 6 cm (for applicants entering graduate school to obtain the scientific qualification "Researcher" in the form of an application, and persons entering graduate school for training in the form of an application for the purpose of passing candidate exams and candidate credits (differential credits) in general education disciplines - 2 photos).
14. Medical certificate of health status (for citizens of the Republic of Belarus).
15. The conclusion of the medical and consulting commission issued by the territorial health organization of the Republic of Belarus (after passing a mandatory medical examination in the direction of an educational institution, an organization that implements educational programs of postgraduate education) (for foreign citizens and stateless persons).
16. Medical report on the state of health and a certificate of absence of HIV infection, issued by the official health authority of the country from which the candidate for postgraduate studies arrived (for foreign citizens and stateless persons)
17. A copy of the passport or a document replacing it, a document confirming the right to stay in the territory of the Republic of Belarus, a compulsory medical insurance contract (for foreign citizens and stateless persons).

Foreign citizens and stateless persons entering postgraduate study to obtain the scientific qualification "Researcher" in accordance with international treaties of the Republic of Belarus, agreements on the implementation of international programs, agreements of educational institutions, organizations of the Republic of Belarus implementing educational programs of postgraduate education, with organizations of foreign states ( international organizations) or in the direction of the organization of a foreign state, submit additionally a copy of one of the above agreements or the direction of the organization of a foreign state.

The above documents, executed in a foreign language, are simultaneously accompanied by their translation into Belarusian or Russian, certified by a notary.

Citizens of the Republic of Belarus, stateless persons and foreign citizens who are holders of foreign diplomas of higher education and academic degrees, before submitting documents for admission to graduate school, must confirm the equivalence (conformity) of their foreign documents to Belarusian diplomas of higher education and academic degrees in the manner established by legislative acts.

A prerequisite for enrollment of foreign citizens in graduate school is that they have a passport or a document replacing it, a document confirming the right to stay in the territory of the Republic of Belarus, a compulsory medical insurance contract, drawn up in the manner prescribed by legislative acts, and in case of admission to graduate school with training in Russian (Belarusian) language - proficiency in Russian (Belarusian) language at a level sufficient to master the corresponding educational program of postgraduate education.

The identity document and the originals of education documents are presented by the person entering the graduate school personally.

Acceptance of documents for admission to graduate school is carried out from August 1 to September 30. Admission to postgraduate studies is carried out annually on a competitive basis from October 1 to 31, regardless of the subordination of the postgraduate education institution, specialty and branch of science in which educational programs of postgraduate education are implemented, as well as the forms of education.
